Industrial, warehouse with a modern twist

The client wanted to expose as much of the original features as possible to keep the history and originality behind the space.

We had planned to lay hardwood flooring, however, during the strip out we uncovered the original 1960s factory parquet flooring. The parquet was covered in screed and the majority of the restoration companies we contacted did not think the floor was salvageable. We finally sourced a specialist contractor to take on the job and the results are fantastic!

A sense of arrival.

Gee Street superloos and shower rooms

To enhance the building and have a 'sense of arrival' for its visitors we added a new lift to the exterior, painted the external brickwork up to the 1st floor, added new external signage, and a bespoke oak door to the main entrance.

To really showcase the building's decor we sandblasted the ceiling, columns and stairwell to expose the concrete features and installed a new WC block built with superloos and shower rooms.
