Thirdway were appointed by Marcol, an international property corporation, to re-design the ground floor entrance lobby as well as the fourth floor demise and toilets which, at the time, were uninspiring and outdated.
...modern and exposed features really turned the look and feel on its head, which resulted in a new tenant to the building within 3 weeks of completion.
Marcol asked Thirdway to create a unique space that brought the existing hidden features back to the forefront. We exposed the beams and columns by sandblasting them and laid a brushed timber flooring down which gives the space an architectural feel.
We added an additional WC to give the space two altogether, as well as transformed an existing super loo into a shower room without losing too much rental space. The space is bright and slick with an oversized door for impact. A combination of modern and exposed features really turned the look and feel on its head, which resulted in a new tenant to the building within 3 weeks of completion.
ThirdWay are now working with Marcol on another project within the building due to the success of this design.
